dbiExplorerBar  is a multifaceted presentation control designed for developers wanting to add elegant end-user navigation features to their software. Selecting from a variety of stock XP and Vista styles and formats, creating custom branded presentations and navigation UI can be a breeze. Whether it's a Navigation Bar, an Outlook Bar, or an Explorer Bar - dbiExplorerBar has it all in one control.

Take advantage of dbiExplorerBar's XML data and presentation support to cast a standard look a feel
for the various presentation styles on one or any collection of forms within an application.
dbiExplorerBar 2.0 for .NET is perfectly suited for applications requiring a multi column, dockable presentation and navigation control for MDI form-based applications.

dbiExplorerBar 2.0 together with dbiList make an awesome combination for building commercial document management, business intelligence and point of sale solutions for instance.

Design-Time Support : Integrated menu designer lets developers visually build the menu in the design surface (add/remove items, select images).

XML Support : Read and write XML files at design and run time that describes the current presentation (write) or change the current presentation (read). Additional XML support (Style Files) allows the control to be placed onto a form and when the control goes to run time, it will search for the style file. If found, the control will change it's appearance as it is first drawn allowing the developer to change the look and feel of the control without having to re-compile the host application.

List Panels : By default, each group header can have an assigned collection of list items. Also, setting the group header as a panel will allow hosting of other external objects. These settings can be implemented at design time allowing the panels and their contents to be designed right then.

Image Support :  An image can be assigned to a group header or list item directly, or by pointing at an image with an image list control.

Smooth Scrolling : The drop list can appear and disappear through a smooth scrolling action.

Gradients : The control supports gradient backgrounds for both the title bar and for the main body.

Background Image : Provides support for a background image for the control. Allows the developer to assign a transparency value so it will have a faded appearance behind the menu items.

Customize The Look : dbiExplorerBar provides many features that allow developers to customize this control for signature navigation and UI presentations. Specify colors and fonts for items encapsulated in the control including color and font for menu items and the title bar in a selected, unselected, and mouse-over states. Modify the shape of the title bar to give the control a different appearance.
