ctCombo replaces the regular combo box
component found in many IDE's offering developers a broader
range of features and
functionality
including Multi-Column Lists, images within the list and edit
areas, XML styles import/ export, XML data and built-in sorting.
ctCombo has been designed to provide the utmost in performance
under heavy data volume situations, bringing the same
presentation and functionality of your favorite browser to your
own projects. ctCombo is an
ideal tool for presenting complex information in a drop-down

| Auto-Complete : Automatically
complete the data entered into the combo. |
| Auto-Suggest : A list of potential
choices can automatically appear as the user is typing in text. |
| Auto-Swap : (Most Recently Used) Keep
the most recently used items at the top of the drop list. |
XML Support : All data,
including presentation detail and style settings, consumed in
ctCombo can be imported from or exported to an XML file. XML
Styles data is easily consumed by other supported DBI components
offering developers an economical method for maintaining
presentations.

Styles : The drop button and
scroll bar can all be set to mimic the button types and fill
patterns found in Windows XP and Windows Vista. These styles can be implemented
with or without Windows XP/ Vista.
Text Box Image : The text area of the
list is capable of hosting an image as well as text.
Flat Style : The control can appear
flat until the mouse moves over the control or until it receives
focus. |

Drop List : This area of the control
contains many advanced features:
- Multiple Column : The list can contain up to six
different columns.
- Column Headers : Options column headers for each
defined column.
- Line Images : Independent images for each line on
the list.
- Alternating Line Colors : The background of each
list item can be set up with alternating colors.
- Header Status : Set a list item as a
header
